Landforms and You
What are your favorite landforms, the ones with personal connections? do you have a special hill? a riverbank you've fished from? a dune you've tumbled down? a creekbed you've splashed through? a muddy depression you've been stuck in? a beach you've explored? a mountain you've climbed? a cave? an outcrop? a canyon? If you think of a special one, I invite you to share it here.

i've been riding my bike down cranbrook hill for as long as I remember, that would be my landform
ReplyDeleteWell, me and my peeps have been fishin up at crooked river since i can remember. so it has some sentimental value to it. i caught a fish THIS BIG! but not there. oh well.
ReplyDeleteI have been swimming in the Nechako river for many years now with friends. It is special to me because of the tightness i have made with friends there. It is one place that I will always find special and unique because of this. We first decided to go to the river one day to cool off during the summer and since then then i have gone back ever year since on hot days.

Fort George Park, yee-haw! It has some interesting sights (by the river), and better yet it has perfect climbing trees.
ReplyDeleteOh, and of course swimming in the Nechako River, despite my definate lack of ability in the swimming area.

A few of the summers that I've gone to my dad's house in Alberta, we went to the Sandy River to go blueberry picking and swimming in the river. There was one summer that me and my step cousin, Little Audrey, had first pick of to either gather firewood or to pick blueberry. Gathering firewood would have been so much better. A.Faux
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion all the best landscapes involve water at one point in their developement or current state. My favourite landscape is a waterfall. Waterfall are the most pretty feature of the earth, and can be related to some of the most exotic places in the world. There is a small waterfall/stream off foothills blv., it is the only one I can think of in Prince George. It's my favourite outdoor place. Martha and I like to go walk up it.
