Family Search https://www.familysearch.org/  free family history and genealogy records

  1. In my heritage project, I learned a lot from how my great great grandparents came to Canada, where they grew up and their careers to, where my dad grew up and his growing up along with my family. To me the most interesting thing was about my great grandpa fighting in WWll and he was MIA for 2 years and later found back in Manitoba in a hospital. This project was not only really beneficial for me, but also for my dad and grandma because they were not aware of most of the things we all found out together doing this. I also found out more about my ethnic back round and I think that's really interesting. I would like to learn more about my moms side because I didn't get a chance to learn about her side, on my dads side i'd like to learn more about my great grandpa in the war and how he got to Canada.
